B & D Dance Club

Saturday nights (various dates)

If you wish to learn to dance, from total beginner through to an Intermediate Standard, the B&D Dance Classes can teach you to dance so that you can enjoy social occasions and dance with confidence. Sequence, Ballroom, Latin and Line Dance are offered.  For more information, visit

The Ditton Short Mat Bowling club was started in 1984 to provide active indoor exercise to older members in the area. The Club has grown in size from just a handful in the early days to its present strength of some 65+, catering for all abilities from very basic to 

We meet at the Ditton Community Centre, Kiln Barn Road most Monday and Friday afternoons from 1pm until 4pm. New bowlers of all ages are always welcome whatever their ability with mats set aside for tuition and special praise. Why not come along and try the sport, or if you are an old bowler come along and try out the mats.

For those just starting the club has a few spare bowls to get the idea of the sport but your own flat shoes or slippers are required.

Ditton & Malling Active Retirement Association (D.A.M.A.R.A.)

Wednesday from 1.00 - 4.00pm at Oaken Hall​

D.A.M.A.R.A. normally have a speaker for the meeting and every third meeting have a games afternoon. To join D.A.M.A.R.A. you must be over 50 years of age and either retired or semi-retired and live in the near neighbourhood of Ditton and Malling.

Our activities cover a wide range including Rambles, Outings (monthly). Holidays, Painting, a singing group, flower arranging and a Petanque section. You can see in the picture below some of our Singing Group donating money they have collected to a class for children with hearing difficulties.

At D.A.M.A.R.A. meetings you will find a very sociable atmosphere with various activities to take part in, including a book club, video club, raffle, bonus ball, and a monthly quiz. Ditton Pétanque Club

St Peters & St Paul's Pre-School have been housed in Ditton Community Centre under the present owners, Mrs Nichola Bailey and Mrs Jacqueline Dearden, for the last seven years.

Following the most recent Ofsted inspection in November 2007 the Pre-School received a 'Good' inspection, with particular mention to the safety of the children and the management of the provision.

We are able to offer separate sessions for the younger/older children on Tuesday - Friday mornings, with mixed aged sessions available on Monday's, and at our afternoon sessions.

The children are also able to take part in French lessons, use the playground facilities and use the outside space, on the field, during supervised activities.
