About Ditton Parish Council
Ditton Parish Council was formed in 1894 when Parliament passed laws that Parishes will have their own Councils. For dates, agenda and minutes of Ditton Parish Council and its committees, please visit the Meetings page.
The Council consists of 13 members and are responsible for the upkeep of the parish, provision of two Recreation Grounds, the Village Green, War Memorial, Community Centre and Parish Allotments. The Council also makes contributions to the upkeep of the Churchyard and pays for the Church to be floodlit throughout the year. It edits and publishes the Ditton Gazette a quarterly magazine to all parish households. Quality Parish Council status was awarded to Ditton Parish Council in February 2006.

Local Authorities (Model Code of Conduct) Order 2007 No. 1159
THE MODEL CODE OF CONDUCT FOR TOWN AND PARISH COUNCILS Ditton Parish Council adopted a new Model Code of Conduct for Town and Parish Councils, including paragraph 12(2), on 6th August 2007. Copies of the Code are available for inspection by members of the public at the Parish Office at Ditton Community Centre, Kilnbarn Road, Ditton, Aylesford, Kent ME20 6AH each weekday between the hours of 9.00am and 4.00pm.
