Ditton Heritage Centre and Victorian Classroom

Ditton Heritage Centre is a local charity dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of the village of Ditton. The centre is based in a former Victorian school building (New Road, Ditton, ME20 6AE) and houses a collection of local historical books, documents, photographs and artefacts.

We hold regular open days during the summer and offer a Victorian classroom experience for schools and groups. We can also host cream teas and other small events on request.

Ditton Bowls Club

Bowls Clubhouse, Kiln Barn Recreation Ground, Kiln Barn Road, Ditton, Kent ME20 6QR

We are a friendly mixed club , have excellent facilities in a modern Clubhouse with good car parking, both located in a quiet attractive surroundings.

No experience is required as tuition from qualified tutors is available for new bowlers aged 12 years of age upwards. Bowls are available for beginners and flat soled shoes only required initially. There is a comprehensive fixtures programme providing competitive matches for seasoned bowlers, Friendly matches with other Clubs, Club Days open to all members and every members has the opportunity of entering the Annual Club Competitions.

Social activities take place on Club Days and other occasions during the summer, with events such as weekly social evenings, special monthly evenings, coffee mornings and Christmas Party with in-house entertainment in the Clubhouse during the close season (October to mid-April).
