REMEMBRANCE 2023
As advertised in the Ditton Gazette earlier this year. There will only be one Service held on Sunday 12th November. This year the service will be held at ST PETER'S CHURCH, followed by the usual parade down to the Memorial where another short service will take place including the 2 minutes silence and laying of wreaths. The service will commence at 9.45am in the Church.
We will be asking people to park at the Community Centre and walk down to the church as there is no parking available there. The uniformed groups will be assembling and lining up in the Junior School car park prior to going over to the church. [It is fine to drop off here but cars should be parked at the Community Centre].
There will not be the usual service on Saturday 11th November, however Cllr Tony Mulcuck will be at the War Memorial just before 11.00am to play the Last Post and anyone that wishes to join him in this act of Remembrance on the 11th November is welcome to do so.
If you have any questions, would like to lay a wreath, help or take part in any way, please contact the parish office - [email protected] .
