Local Issues or Suggestions

- How to make your views known & count

Local issues logo

Ditton Parish Council always welcomes views and suggestions from the public on any local issue or concern. There are a number of ways in which to express views and also take an active part in developing the community.

  • Attend a meeting of the Parish Council or its committees

Meetings are held on Monday evenings in the Council Chamber at Ditton Community Centre, Kilnbarn Road, Ditton, Aylesford, Kent ME20 6AH.

Notices of meetings are posted on the six parish notice boards throughout the parish and on the website. A meetings timetable for the current year is also on the website.

  • Visit or contact the Parish Office

The parish office, which is situated at the rear of the Community Centre, is open from 9.00am to 4.00pm each weekday and staff are always happy to help.

You can also write, email, fax or telephone the Parish Clerk who will deal with any enquiry and place it on the next appropriate Council or Committee agenda. Contact details as follows:-

Address: Ditton Parish Council, Parish Office, Ditton Community Centre, Kilnbarn Road, Ditton, Aylesford, Kent ME20 6AH.

Telephone: 01732 844749 Fax: 01732 845572

  • Talk to a Parish Councillor

If you would like to talk to a Member of the Council on any matter, you can contact the parish office where the staff will make the necessary arrangements.

  • Join a Consultative Group or Working Party

The parish council is always willing to set up new consultative groups or hold forums to discuss special issues, or working parties to tackle projects. Involvement can be as little or as much as you are able to give.
