DITTON COMMUNITY CENTRE - COVID-19 - NOTICE AS AT 17.03.2020

It was discussed at a meeting of the Parish Council last night that if due to the Coronavirus hirers need to cancel it has been decided that no charges will be made.

Please be aware it may become necessary for the Parish Council to close the Community Centre but this will be dependant on the Government advice and we will give as much notice as possible.

We have access to the NHS and Government advice site inc. posters etc and we have put some these posters in the halls along with antibacterial handwash and paper towels. We ask anyone visiting the Centre to be be extra vigilante on making sure they all clean up after themselves to try and limit the potential spread.

Each hirer, Group/Organisation/Business should be taking their own steps to provide their own hand sanitisers etc to protect themselves personally and be advising all involved to exercise extra vigilance with personal hygiene

Clubs/Groups/Organisations/Businesses should have their own contingency plans in place and should also be guided by the Government advice.

So today it is business as usual until further notice, however to insure the safety of all our staff and customers we please ask if you are showing any signs of illness such as coughs, breathing difficulties or temperatures that you would kindly refrain visiting the Community Centre.

Thank you.
