MINUTES OF AN EXTRAORDINARY MEETING OF DITTON PARISH COUNCIL,
HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBER
AT DITTON COMMUNITY CENTRE ON MONDAY, 16th JANUARY 2006

457. OPENING OF MEETING
The Vice-Chairman opened the meeting at 8.00pm.
The Clerk advised Members that she had received a telephone call earlier
in the day, advising that the Council have been successful in their application
for Quality Status and that the judges were most impressed with the presentation
of the portfolio.
458. APOLOGIES
Apologies previously NOTIFIED were RECEIVED and ACCEPTED from Cllrs. Mrs
A Beadle, J Beadle, J Day, Mrs Mulcuck, Mrs Thorpe and Mrs Throssell.
459. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
Cllr. Porter declared an interest in item 460 as he has already completed
the consultation as a member of Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council.
460. CORRESPONDENCE
Kent Police Authority: Council Tax & Policing Plan Consultation for
Financial Year 2006/2007
Information previously circulated was READ and NOTED.
Members were asked to return completed questionnaire papers to the Clerk
as soon as possible.
461. ESTIMATES OF EXPENDITURE FOR FINANCIAL YEAR 2006/2007
RESOLVED to RATIFY the recommended estimates for financial year 2006/2007
as set out in the minutes of the meeting of the Finance and Administration
Committee held on 26th January 2006, immediately prior to this meeting
(Page 348, minute 455).
Details of individual staff salaries for 2006/2007 are set out in the
Confidential Memorandum Book Ref CM 333.

The meeting closed at 8.05pm.
